I've just been listening to the Sultans of Ping, Andy ,so I'm probably not in a position to comment on anybody's taste : ).

Just didn't like to think that you were becoming one of the few posters on here who thinks because they are an expert on a subject they have a right to stomp on everybody else's posts.

I mean people who consider themselves to be an expert on a subject or claim to be when we have no way to back it up. It wasn't really Andy I was thinking about when I posted it, it just something that's happening on one section of AB in particular and I don't want to see it creeping into others. Everybody's opinion / choices on here are equally valid.

OK, I have no desire to start an argument here but -

I simply expressed my opinion on the tracks posted at the time - which i thought was a valid way to respond to the thread.

I never said I was an 'expert', and my post did not 'stomp on everybody else's posts' - it offered an opinion, pure and simple.

Indeed everyone's choices and opinions are valid - so that must include mine too?

Hope that's cleared that up.

Andy, as I said in my last post when I referred to elf proclaimed experts and ' stomping on peoples points' it wasn't you that I had in mind. In saying that i didn't think your post was relevant to the point of the thread as I saw it, perhaps because it was done in a ' good guy. good guy, ****er, good guy..' way without contributing your own piece of music. It's just because the ' step aside please, I know what I'm talking about ' mentality irks me so much in other sections I probably over - reacted and for that I apologise.

I'm still waiting to hear your choice of music for today : )
