Is anyone aware of a scheme where DWP will refund the bond and deposit when you cannot afford the cost of moving rental properties, but your tenancy is ending, and you have to vacate the property.

Thanks for that. I understand its not to be paid back though!
Are you thinking of a Council-operated Deposit Guarantee Scheme, where the Council makes a pledge to the landlord to support your tenancy in lieu of a deposit being paid up front?
