When is the Firefox coming into production?

I have just seen the following site, which tells me that the MIG-31 is called a Foxhound. If you know any Craig Thomas novels then you will know that this aircraft should be called a Firefox. Any idea when this will be coming out, and what MIG number will it be? It was supposed to come out in the early 1980s.

All I know is that Firefox was a film starring and directed by Clint Eastwood, in 1982, from a book written by Craig Thomas in 1977. If there were any plans to build the
MiG31 I would have thought it would be up and running by now.

I've noticed that ou say the Foxhound is the MiG31, but how accurate do you want Craig Thomas to be?
