Can I extend wireless range?
3 Answers
Hi all,
I have a Belkin router servicing a wireless network from a 1st floor bedroom at home from where I work. I have recently moved my office to a purpose built room on the ground floor.I now find I cannot get a reliable signal to my laptop in this room. Can anyone suggest a fix for this problem ( other than running a network cable to the room)? Is there a signal booster or similar that I could buy?
Thanks
SJ

If not, try moving the router to a different part of the room where it is currently located. It could be due to the amount of walls/radiators etc between it and your laptop - there are lots of things which can interfere with the wireless signal.
