I've blown it!
I have ticked a box t 'automaticaly use this prog for all files'. Trouble is, it's the icon. I know that there is somewhere to uncheck this, but don't know where.

In My Computer or Documents: Tools>Folder options>File Types

Right click the file, select open with, Select Choose Program.  Selct the correct program from the list or browse to it's executable then tick the "Always use selected program" box, and that should do the trick.
