In the summer me and mum will be visitng; plymouth, portsmouth, southampton and brighton but because of when the open days are we can't do one big trip and see them all so instead of going there, seeing the uni and going home we'll probably have a look around the town/city . . . I can see there's a brighton thread suggesting the pavillion, but what else is there in these other places?

Go to the North Laine in Brighton, it's like living in the 70's, and no it is not part of the Lanes.
Beachy Head is actually in Eastbourne, but similar at Rottingdean but hardly worth the bus fare!

I don't know if my mum would do that mrI . .
not suprised, my wife wouldn't do it either! But my two little un's thought is was fantastic! my son did ask if it would take the weight of my tummy!
(I will have to remind myself to embarress him when he brings his first girlfriend home!)
