When I was little I used to watch a tv programme about a little girl who used to meet a witch on a canal path.  Does anyone remember it and if so, what was it called - its bugging me.

Do you know what year/decade this was shown in? Dunno if this helps but i was born in the 80's and the witch programmes i remember were Grotbags or Simon and the Witch??
