One can see what hey mean by his behaviour though, waving that machette around as if it was the normal thing to do. Seems he killed the goose that laid golden eggs for him. Wish I had one of those.

Hope you're well and feeling much better.

Dont really watch it.........kids enjoy it and say it's very funny, so i personally would'nt miss it myself.

I did miss 'Firefly' when it was suddenly cancelled after just 14 episodes due to cost , but Joss Whedon made a follow up film called 'Serenity' which had all the main characters back in it.

I think it's a case of sometimes a show goes on for TOO long........Friends went on for ten seasons and got stale imo, by the end.

And Alan acts more like Charlie these days.

yeah they should have let Firefly carry on, Joss Weedon did an extra season of Buffy via the graphic novel though and I think he did some Firefly ones too. Didn't the vicar from Buffy play the lead in Firefly?

I shall miss Alan, as I think he was the funniest and a great actor, and the women.........wow!

It had run its course anyway, I think 8 seasons.Jake is 18 now, it should be called "Three Men"!
That said, I found the programme hilarious. The premise of the programme doesnt make it sound like much would happen or that a good plot could ever evolve, but the writers really made it work.
