I have just seen 2 women in Tesco's with a pen & pad sorting through the McVities biscuits and writing something on the pad (one was sorting through the packs while telling the other one what to write) being a bit curious by now when they left the aisle
I went over to see what they had been up to and after reading a pack there is a promotion running where you enter code number printed on the packs for free gifts,
the more codes you enter the better the gift, but I presume that once a code has been entered it is cancelled from the promotion. I have to ask then why do they not print these codes on the inside of the packs to stop this scam. I for one would not be very pleased to find the code No. had already been used.
Yea Gods, what a depressing existance these woman must have if this is how they spend their time! I'd have been tempted to ask them if their TV's were broken.
McVities will need to see the packet with the winning code as proof of purchase. If they can't supply it, they get no prize. Doritos did something similar a few months back.
Prize winners (except the winner of the special extra draw and Northern Ireland no purchase entries) will be instantly notified on-screen following submission of a promotion code and sent a confirmation email with details of how to claim the prize. Winners will be asked to provide proof of identity (showing name and address eg utility bill, mobile phone bill or driving licence, a copy of the win notification email and the WINNING PROMOTIONAL PACK to verify their prize claim.
