Mitolyn Review: Does This Weight Loss...

I currently use an HSBC premier account for my current account and credit card, although on several occasions have found that HSBC staff have not been as helpful as I would have liked, and feel the bank on the whole is not very good. The interest is also not worth having. Does anyone have any better alternatives - although please not those rubbish gold and platinum lloyds tsb accounts. Thanks.

By the way, I used to work at HSBC call centre for 2 & a half years - since they sent most of it to India, reduced the bank counter opening times and made it all automated they have badly gone downhill and lost touch with their customers. Although First Direct is part of HSBC they are NOTHING like them.
I think its horses for courses.
I have banked with Lloyds for nigh on 18 years and have never had a problem. I have one of those rubbish accounts and save about 150 per year on insurance, breakdown cover for cars and mobile phones insurance. I dont worry about interest on my current account because the balance is paid straight into a high interest savings account.
Like I said horses for courses.
I second spammylou in respect to First Direct. They are second to none when it comes to customer service. They have no call centres outside of the UK, are available 24/7 and you never have an automated answer - it's always a person on the end of the line which is quite a rarity in this day and age. Give them a buzz or check out their web site www.firstdirect.com.
I bank with Alliance and Leicester and never had a problem. The premium plus current account pays 5% and on line saver 5.35%.they are available 24/7 , always helpful and all call centres are in uk.
