Can the Gadaffi Regime survive?
Gadaffi forces are now gaining the upper ground and repelling the insurgents. They have the military might to oppose any internal uprising and the majority of his staff are loyal.
NATO is a defensive force to protect its members and Libya is no immediate threat to any other country. If the UN is used Russia and China would probably veto any attempt at a no fly zone or invasion, Without a UN resolution therefore any act of force against Libya will be illegal.
So when Cameron is looking at all possible actions should Gadaffi remaining in power be just one of the options?
