Census - Civil Protest Action Day
9 Answers
Here's one for ABers or others wanting to protest about the Census or Cuts..........
Given the Government and Local Council cuts (down here inc. supermarket recycling and closing of public conveniences, never mind the closure of old folk facilities, the conditions of the lanes and all the rest), why doesn't a large number of Britain rise up in mass and have a day of action on the 27th of March where the Census is piled up and burnt in large heaps across the main squares of cities, towns and villages of this once fair and beautiful land.
Could they really take tens/hundreds of thousand of folk, normally law abiding citizens, to court for civil disobedience.......and clog up the system for years to come.....Me thinks not.
After all what good are these statistics going to be given all the closure of services that have been funded by our hard-earned taxes in the past? It is, in part, an exercise in redundancy.
