paul - doing my head in now, i can;t think of anyone else!
Shows what I know about rugby! At least I had a go.
I hope I haven't got my maths wrong!!
ok i have

30 players per side so 60 per game x 3 games = 180
3 refs = 6
6 touch judges = 12
3 balls = 3

=201
ha ha that was so wrong

15 per side 30 per game = 60 balls x 3 games = 180

my god 60 players, that would be entertaining!
aaah there's the confusion... I said 'any' of the weekend's games... I meant that to topicalise it and to confirm we're talking mens rugby! Basically saying how many balls on one pitch at the start of a full sized game of men's rugby! Sorry for being too vague!
just one game then?

so that would be 67 then?
nope! you were close before!
i'm lost there are only 3 games aren;t they?
yeah but I'm only talking about on the pitch at one game.
and I don't agree with your maths in the first place! More balls!!
30 Players = 60 I ref = 2 2 Touch Judges = 4 1 playing ball = 67 What hav I and Fluffy missed then
so confused :-) thanks dave - least i'm not on my own
aaaah my maths was...
on the pitch - 15 + 15 + 1 ref (touch judges aren't on the pitch) = 31
each man has 2 balls, 2 eye balls and 2 balls of feet = 6 per man
6x31 = 186 + 1 match ball = 187
sorry for frustrating!!
Ahh Touch judges aren't on the field 63

Nice weekend all
you;'e a *** pa__ul :-)
