japanese friends and family

just had to share my good news - the two families i know in japan (1 tokyo and 1 kobe) are all safe and well.
i know it's selfish of me to be so pleased when there is so much devastation and death for others but i am pleased.

So glad for everyone who has heard that friends and family are safe. I've just been watching it on the news on Channel 5 - nobody in the path of the tsunami could have done anything at all to save themselves. Terrifying.
