Argh! Broken glass in dishwasher!
17 Answers
Just knocked a glass over whilst emptying the dishwasher and the shards have gone EVERYWHERE! I've removed the big chunks but do you reckon its ok to vaccum out the little stuff in the bottom?

I've done a combo of your answers - used a small soft brush to brush it all into the filter, then removed the filter and emptied it into the bin, then wiped the bottom with a wet cloth to make sure I had it all.
Cheers, panic over :)

I worry that if the dishwasher is run the glass will scratch the inside of the machine which might create rust spots later down the line.
I would see if I could climb in there remove any pieces with damp cloth, or if the pieces are really small if the machine is dry wrap some cello tape round you hand lean in and dab round to pick up small pieces, I would then try and place large cloth or sponge in the drain hole and throw some water if by hand all over in the hope to catch any last pieces which would get caught pre drain on the cloth,
