so can you receive something at the door look at it and say no I want to return it, or is this just for substitutions that this return system is allowed ?
I want to buy some flap jacks to send to the front line they are on offer but can sometimes be too close in date to make the journey, So fancy ordering and see what the dates are?

Why not put a note on the order telling the picker not to put them in if they are beyond a certain date. There is a space for notes. Then if they put them in and they are not right you can complain and get them taken back or your money refunded. They are very good. They refunded money to me as soon as I complained.
gran do you like flap jacks then? I have some home made jam here, the kettle's on we just need some scones or something if someone could pop in on their way, i do live in cornwall just over the border from devon so chances are there are some scones around some where, everyone take your shoes of, last one close the door.
I've always found everything in date. on the rare occasion that its NEAR a sell-by date its put in a blue bag,(for identification) the driver tell you about it & its printed on the invoice. If you decide to return it the driver makes a note of it,on his digital machine & within 3 days its debited to your account.
There's such a lot of hooey about OOD good - It rarely happens.
I've had my shopping delivered by Tesco for over 5 years now (260 weeks) and have only had 2 probs.& they are getting better all the time.
I can't tell you about the other co's.
