I'm making roast beef, Yorkshire puds, roasties and veg, can't wait!

Might make a syrup sponge for pud - tonights tea sounds like comfort food

Hubby gone to the pub to watch the football and will be bringing home a curry later.
Pasta, salad and garlic bread for us. Easy Saturday comfort food.

Lol @ bimbo, I don't bother on Sundays cos OH is sometimes at work, so Saturday is usually a decent meal or takeaway
Yeah! I've been wondering what to have which is easy & quick. H in his den watching football & wants a tray on his lap - Hmmm, beans on toast, bacon sandwich.jacket pot + cheese? I'll be watching Ant & Dec later.

Just tried to book a table at a pub which does excellent food and it's full ;-(

Having re heated chippie tea from last night,the portions where massive and I wasnt as hungry as I thought I was.

Typical, not enough eggs! OH apparently had a fried egg and bacon sarnie this morning - looks like I'll have to scrap the pud
Steak with peppercorn sauce and steamed new potatoes and snowpeas :)
