Type Your Answer Here...Yes ..
Open Windows Explorer .. browse to the Favorites folder .. and copy/paste wherever you like!
Do this .. Open IE if that's what you use .. File/Import-Export
Export .. Favorites to htm file .. somewhere as backup.
If you click on this saved file, you will get a web-page type layout of clickable links of all your favorites listed by folder layout. Quite nifty.
PS.
That was TWO ways to save the favorites.
Either will make a backup, but second method is easier.
Also, you may imoprt back into browser whenever you like.

If Firefox, one has to copy complete Profile folder ...or the Bookmarks file.
Good tip ... once you've exported that html file, email it to yourself.

That way, if you ever lose your favourites, they're sitting in an email attachment. :-)
... and we all know about ruddy deleted emails from last night.

Grrrr. : )
?
Ahh, I see your point, lol
most broswers have a function for this if you look in bookmark/favourites folder manager
