Had a quick look......the contraceptives comment and what followed may be construed to be a bit odd, and can see why some good folk commented as they did, in a way, Bobbi.
I think on this occasion, it was a bit insensitive of McMouse to post out such a thread about famine in Africa, and the terrible things these lovely human beings have to endure and put up with as everyday life, and JTH is quite right....you dont know if he's being serious or just making a joke.
Good for you....you did apologise when told it was coming over as a bit racist and hopefully that was accepted.
Have a good weekend, sweetheart and hope the sun's shining.

Well, I lost a dear friend to Breast cancer three years ago, and her son, who was 19 at the time was at uni. I made her a promise to 'look after him' - and he came to stay with us on many occasions during the holidays. He's recently got his dream job in Hong Kong, and with his first wages he sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, saying 'to my adopted mum,' he also wrote me the most beautiful letter. His mum would have been so proud of him, as indeed I am!
