Reading it properly - I quite like - Bellamy Bros, Booker T, Eagles, Aretha, Marvin, Kid Creole, Prince ( his accoustic songs such as Cream, Sign of the Times etc)

Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle is one of the most haunting songs I've ever heard. Chilli Peppers Under the Bridge just goes without saying. I have Zappa's Apostrophe which is still brilliant.

I am still laughing as I write this at the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. It's fabulous! I don't know how old it is, but it would have served well as a joke in Hamish Macbeth.
