Many years ago OH and me went to Skiathos, while there we were recommended a restaurant run by English folk in there home. They were only known by word of mouth, they never advertised. The address was something like catch the local bus and get off at bus stop 13. It was a brilliant meal. It was just like going to dinner with friends. The man had only one hand but to see him cope with preparations was incredible. They were wonderful company.
Has anyone else been there? or does anyone know if it is still going?
There's a chef on the telly who lost a hand (or it might even be his full arm, I'm not sure). Like you say - it's quite something that they do what they do. I don't suppose it's the same chap ....
About 25 years ago I went to Majorca and the hotel didn't do English breakfasts then but we found this cafe on the beach called Bev and something I can't remember but we had full English brekkie there every morning.I like to try all the different foods but do like to have English Breakfasts.
