afternoon all,

I had a disbute with my bank last year and having won the argument the bank agreed to reinstate my ISA as though no error had occured.

I have just received my interest and think it may not be right.

Can anyone tell me what interest I should receive on savings of £10,000 with an ISA interest of 5.5%. No other money have been added to this account in the last 12 months.

Many thanks

£550 is 5.5% of £10000
But are you sure 5.5% was the annual rate? It seems high.
And was your money in for the full year?
Are you sure your interest payment relates to the full year? Depending on the timing of when they pay it there may be more to follow.
