Really pleased you packed the fags in pet
they are set to exceed 7 quid after midnight tonight
2 and a half percent above inflation and inflation is running at 4.5 percent now
I certainly didnt appreciate GO's add onto wine and gin but I guess it was understandable, given what GB/AD and his ijiuts left behind, never mind having sold off most of the gold.
I smoked as I have said, disgusting habit it may be, but it was my disgusting habit and it was my choice to stop, it irks me when the Anti smoking brigade take the moral highground
Bobbi, I don't subscribe to the anti-smloking league as I believe you must do what you like as long as you do not hurt someone else. However thought I would put my halfpennorth in and tell you my sister-in-law who died of you-know-what, was spending £70 a week on fags. That would be my incentive I think. All that money going up in smoke. My doctor at the time reckoned he bought his car out of the money he saved when he gave up smoking and as it was a Jag I shudder to think how many he smoked - obviously the most expensive!
I seriously understand this Star, believe me, I don't think there is anyone on here who hasn't know someone meet the same fate by it and I applaud anyone giving it up but it is the mega anti smoker person who wave their arms in an animated fashion who used to annoy me.
I am all for everyone packing it in though, if only to save their health
Because I had cancer 10 years ago I gave up smoking around 30 - 40 per day. They were £3.80 a pkt then. I've saved a lot of money & its enabled me to live better..AND its given me this last 10 years of my life.
You're right Bobbi, it doesn't leave you. I still like the smell of a freshly lit cigarette.
If i'm in the street & smell a light-up I take in great gulps of the poluted air. Can't help it.
The price of 'em tho gives me the incentive to not indulge again.
