I don't think it's 'for Christians' only any more.....the yearly hype has seen to that. It's so pervasive-that it can't be avoided no matter what you may believe or not believe.

I couldn't agree more! The thing that I find most insulting is the ignorant attitude that, if you're not blissfully happy just because the date happens to coincide with the supposed birth of Mithras*, then there must be something fundamentally wrong with you.
