Steady on, there is a legion of songs ahead of this for that label!
It's not a good song, not well sung, but so what, plenty of people have huge hits with songs that qualify less on both counts.
That's what pop is - UK population of 60 million - 59 million think this is pants, the other million buy it - result!

Nope, I agree Andy. I think he state of pop music is in a bad way if professional songwriters get away with this kind of stuff though!
The lyrics are exceptionally poor - although, if you can share something worse (which I am sure exists) I think it would be a welcome contribution to this thread!
