mobile phone problem

my mobile phone keeps answering on its own. i originally had it on ring and vibrate. now its only vibrating and then answering straight away. this could prove embarassing! it answers then you can hear someone fidgeting about waiting to hear me speak. im scared to leave it on. any ideas what i can do to get it back to what i had it on before? ive tried phone and call setting and looked at auto answer but that says off.

ive already checked auto answer and it says off, no havent got a bluetooth headset.

no idea what model it is sorry, if i restore to factory settings wouldnt i lose all my numbers, texts pics etc on there?
