Flight sim x issue
I have a Dell XPS 420 machine - 3GB mem etc... my GFX card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT.
Everytime i go to play MFSX i keep getting the images loading, but the screen will flicker. According to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/ srtest - my PC has passed every test with flying colours. So what's wrong with MFSX? It does not matter if i go from low graphis to high - my PC should handle high without any issues what so ever. I have a Q6600 quad core 2.4ghz processor, and running vista home premiem. 3GB memory, 1TB hard disk and like said above using the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphics card.
I have also updated my graphics card drivers and rebooted but nothing. ANy ideas?

You could try changing the game to run in compatablity mode for windows xp, or clicking to run as administrator. youll hear that advice alot with regards to vista, but honestly, i dont know why this would make a difference IF any.
Im not sure what might cause the screen flickering...ive never had this problem before...does it only happen with this game? Have you tested any other games? if the same happens then i would hazard a guess its a hardware problem, but then you could always try reinstalling nividia drivers.
of course the simplist ideas have a habbit of working when the most complicated solutions do nothing. try uinstalling, restarting, reinstalling, then defraging your comp. always worth a try.
