Does anyone else feel that those attempting to complete this quiz (or whatever it is) should give up if they are incapable of checking previously-asked and answered questions?

no but I do think that they should post in q and p

Hear Hear.I am sick of posting the link to the Wikepedia website where they can get all the answers to this quiz, book,Lemony bloomin' Snicket thing.!! This section and H&M and also Q&P are constantly bunged up with nameless novel questions.
i don't no u, but obviously, u have no willpower. if u alwayz give up and never challenge urself to b smarter, u will flip burgers at burger king 4 the rest of ur life(so help u god.) if u have no interest, leave us who do alone. or better yet, u not try it at thenamelessnovel.com, u may b suprised. if the writer or any1 who agrees with the writer's questions is reading this - leave us who care alone & go suck an egg!  thank u & have a great day...

Perhaps you might be better off concentrating on your spelling and grammar rather than a quiz.

My point (which you obviously missed) was that the same questions are being asked and answered time and again, and that when someone posts a question to this site, they are given a list of similar questions to see if their question has already received an answer. Many of the "Nameless Novel" participants seem too ignorant (or just plain lazy) to use this facility.

Personally speaking, I would hope that I would not use a site such as this for a quiz (I certainly didn't need to for the "Da Vinci Code" one). If I did, I would at least have the manners to check the provided list of questions to see if my question had already been asked.

Totally agree LeMarchand, it's getting out of hand. It's a quiz, so why don't you to the quiz section? Or find the answers yourself, or just look at the 6234524 other questions that have been posted on the subject!

And you cheeky monkey..annaphillips.. I am 57 year old woman with a good education behind me.We are polite enough to post you the Wikepedia link.Learn to read and spell why don't you. These questions have been asked time and time again. This is what the category search is for.In future if I see any post from ..you can go and suck the largest egg you can find and find the answers yourself .Learn some manners. And buy a dictionary or you will most certainly end up flipping burgers for a living !

LeMarchand, I can spell, okay? I just typed fast. Yes, I understand people should check the questions first, and I do, but you failed to specify as to whom you were talking to. Not everyone repeats questions, and obvisiously you know nothing about this quiz, because useing sites like this is what you are supposed to do. No

I will not flip burgers for a living, Shaneystar, I can spell. And might I add that for a 57 year old lady, you are very narrow-minded. As I said before, the object is to find answers on a sight like this. I do not want to offend anyone, but, please, try to understand, we're just people wanting some answers to solve a mystery set up by HarperCollins Publishing. On one last note- 'suck an egg' is an expression, not meant to offend anyone, just basically 'mind your business.' Remember: if everyone tended to their own problems, instead of everyone elses, there wouldn't be any problems. I was just trying to make a point, no use acting immature enough to respond. This sight is for trivia questions, not arguments, don't expect me to respond again to this question, or even take the time to read it again. What

a waste of time. Have a great life & I'm sorry to anyone who flips burgers at Burger King, or, for that matter, sucks eggs, I'm sure you're a very great person. Tootles!

P.S.- I have no idea why my message was divided into three parts?! Oh, well.

I have done the nameless novel quizz all along and never needed to use this site to beg for answers as I have a perfectly good system called google, and anything i needed was either on there or already in my brain! Why do a quizz when you are not prepared to get the satisfaction of finding the answers in a knowledge growing way, why just ask for the answer off someone else? Lazy and not half as interesting or educational.
I have had enough of this person. This site is not just for trivia. To call me narrow minded is a bit beyond a joke. They obviously don't look at or contibute to any other categories. If they did they would find a whole lot more..But no....all they are concerned with is finding out the answers to the Nameless Novel.Fair enough..each to their own . And no this site is not for arguements ..but for good intelligent debate in some categories. I have answered numerous questions for N.N. participants and posted the link to Wikepdia countless times. If they then can't be bothered to do category searches or Google for answers then they must be the ones with a problem....not me.

If we're all on this site because we're interested in arts and literature shouldn't you be happy that some young people are really excited about a book coming out rather than argueing about who is going to be flipping burgers or not?

Glad that they're reading, yes. Glad that they are incapable of reading that someone has posted exactly the same question as them and that they don't seem to be able to use a search engine, no.
