Mice at work - health and safety
We have a mouse problem in our office - mainly in the kitchen. The company has employed professionals to eliminate to problem (traps/bait etc), but the problem continues. Everyone is doing their best to keep food etc stored away correctly. However the office constantly stinks, because of dead mice being caught and left rotting, but they breed and keep coming. Can the employer get away with just the fact that they are "trying to eliminate the problem"? It is becoming unbearable sometimes for some members of staff to work in that environment. What are the H&S rules in this situation? Thank you for your advice in advance.
