DVD librarys

There are many who build up an extensive library of DVD films.

Do they every watch them more than once, except of course for certain 'classics'?

Or is it a matter of 'I own these'?

I imagine there is a bit of that - I like to own all the books I've read. It's like a tapestry of cultural consumption. Always great to return to the book shelf and be reminded of a book you haven't read in years.

We regularly watch ours.
We don't purchase any sort of DVD unless we feel that we will watch it enough to make it worth our while purchasing.

i have quite a few - mostly they are film or series that i love so watch over and over again. ther eare a few i've picked up watched once and never looked at again

Not so much with DVDs, but I have a large music collection which I own the CD's for. I don't like downloading music (even fully paid for and fully legal) because I'd rather have the actual CD.

It also means that if the collection of music I have on my computers was to ever get lost I could recreate it (admittedly it would take me months to rip all the CDs again)

I've hundreds of dvds and I do re-watch them. Depends on the mood etc;certainly I also have a clear out from time to time

I've got laods of DVDs which I'm going to try and get rid of on Ebay. I very rarely get to watch them so there is no point in keeping them. There are a few which I will never part with though and the Disney ones I've had for years.

They are not on show anymore so I can't do the "I own these" bit anymore.
