I am wating to write some java servlets but am having problems finding a compiler. I have looked at th SUN site and downloaded some stuff but it doesn't make sence (no complier that I can find) Can anyone make some suggestions please.

download the Java SDK -
It's target=_blank>http://java.sun.com

It's currently Java 2, version 1.4.3 I think. You compile Java code using the javac.exe compiler.
