It lists mother and father (Emma and Thomas Hawkins) and children Elizabeth and Charles with their ages .... but also lists 2 daughters as 0 years old in 1911 - so i understand they are less than one. I have been told there are twins in this part of the famiy and that neither lived long - but have looked for births for the preceeding 12 months and can't identify them - why could they not be names on the 1911?? Is there anything else on the original record that anyone can look at for me? (I am out of credits now and finding the 1911 site too expensive) Can anyone find the births of these twin girls - and possibly their deaths? Mother's maiden name was Mason and they were always (for this whole generation anyway) in Walsall, Staffordshire. TIA
The dzug2 ......... I am guessing that's the case, but would love to find their borth records so I can use the names to find the deaths - but surely even if not registered they coul dbe names on the census .... perhaps someone with 1911 access will be able to check I am not going mad - thanks for your help x
Hi Craft - had missed that on the 1911 ...... and I have looked just now and can't seem to find the other child that died ..... they were married in 904 (not that that means anything!!) so likely the child was born and died between then and 1911 .... can you help me find a name for this child?
sorry there are 9 possibilities i.e. Hawkins children born and died in Walsall between 1904 (the date of marriage) and 1908 (the birth date of the eldest surviving child)
Your best option is to identify possible family names like brides father/ mother then grooms father/mother then maybe locate a grave, or a christening/burial record that would give you the names of the child/children.
