I once trapped my finger in my car door so i know how you feel. Take some painkillers and see how it goes. It will hurt for a few days and eventually the nail will drop off.

If there is no major swelling or distortion of the joint I`d be inclined to take pain relief and see how it goes. You might lose the nail at some point.

If it was my nail that had gone black, I would use the RHPC treatment, still used in hospitals today.

Unfold half a paper clip, heat the straightened end until red hot then just burn a hole in the nail, it will release all the pressure and pain being caused by the build up of blood behind the nail and its immediately effective.
Go to your nearest walk in clinic, they are usually open till 10pm, they deal with minor ailments and small accidents and if they think it necessary will refer you to A&E.
hope it stops hurting soon, you will need some pain killers though.
