Cats in certain countries

Are not pampered like they are here, I accept that in many cultures they have more pressing needs than taking care of the local cat population, but is there an international charity that you can give to that either takes care of these cats or at least has some kind of neutering programme?

Belated thanks for that last post Chris, you're right, should have been more specific!
Had to perform emergency surgery on two kittens whose cords had got tangled round a yukka trunk! Knew there would be a reason for always taking scissors with me:-)
Can't always be there with the midwifery skills so that charity sounds great!
