Thingy to patch a rip on a shirt

I have a rip on a shirt that I would like to mend. It is a small L-shaped rip.
I have heard about a product that can be used to repair it but don't know what it is called to look it up on ebay.
I think it works by ironing it on the back of the rip.

Does anyone know what it is called?

If you are very adept you could achieve a good result using Wundaweb or similar generally used for hemming.

Wundaweb would have done rabbitygirl - I didn't think of that. But I have bought the stuff Trimeresurus suggested so I will give it a go with that.
