That girl's voice is sooooo irritating

Who is the girl with that awful irritating voice, on Saturday's Kitchen now ? Her voice is slightly off key .... I have heard her on other programmes as well, she really gets on my nerves. She must be raking in a fortune though. Get rid of her BBC !!!

I know who you mean, she irritates me too, slightly husky, she makes me want to clear my throat ever time I hear her! Another thing that annoys me about her is when she says 'John is a 'restauranter' instead of 'restaurateur' - I shout at the TV - 'there's no such thing as a restauranter...' I wouldn't pay her in washers!!

If you mean the voice over woman, assuming it's still the same one, her name's India Fisher & I agree she's so so irritating. If anyone wanted to torture me (and I'm sure there are some :o)) just trap me in a lift with her voice playing over and over. There are lots of complaints so I'm amazed she's still doing it.

Yes, she does Masterchef also. She's a pain, I wish they'd find someone else!

Isn't it strange how some voices grate on you...and some are really lovely to hear. I sometimes find that with accents too and sometime ago I saw a tv programme where they said it actually happens that some people are "tuned" to accept some voices/accents and some are opposite....all to do with the makeup of people I guess.
