sorry boo but animal rights activists have been trying to get the race banned for years but with the millions of £££££££££££££s involved that is unlikely to happen...all they can do is to try and make the race safer...

I got £97-50 on Ballabriggs, Dee Sa....for £5 and it was 14-1 - depends whether you fixed at 16-1 or floated to the wire on the odds.

sorry I meant to say £1 e/w might not be much for some of you, but between hubby and moi we did 8 horses [4 each] so that was £16 in total which was what we could afford to loose.
