Been a lovely day! Hope this isn't the only good weather we're going to have this year...

Had a win on the horses - first time i've ever had a proper bet too! Been around the garden, and the borders are full of bluebells, picked enough rhubarb for a crumble tomorrow, and hubby is just grilling some leg of lamb kebabs with chili, mint, garlic and lemon to go with a nice fresh salad, flat breads and a bottle of well chilled sparkling Rosé.

We had bacon loin chops, jersey spuds and peas.

Fabulous day. Pegged out the washing, drove to the coast, bought fruit and veg on the market, had a walk on the prom, called into a cafe for some lunch.

Had tea in the garden before watching the big race. Salad and new potatoes for supper.

Now relaxing with a glass of rose after having salad with fresh salmon fillets and a crusty stick.

Cleaned out the chicken coop (not as bad as sounds - mainly spilled food, not poo!), went to pub, & OH won on the National! That's me going to the beer festival at Peel tomorrow! And a lovely crab bap there, too. Happy days.
