Last Sunday Janzman posted a good question about food we hate. Then I got thinking about things I like that most other people don't such as;
Cooking Chocolate, uht milk, roquefort cheese, crabsticks, salad cream on chips. There'll be more but can't think of them just yet. Do you have odd likings too?

Tripe in England is disgusting, callos (tripe) in spain is delicious!
The nearest a crab stick has been to a crab is on the fishmonger's counter. They aren't allowed to call them that any more.
Sea cucumber - most westerners hate those in Chinese food - I love it!

Bananas are totally revolting. I barf on them and can't stand the smell - that is a psychosomatic reaction. 3 others in the family can't stand/eat them either.
loads of odd stuff, probably the strangest are kanna's (dried prunes with salt and licquorice)
Black pudding!!! I like it all the more when self-righteous vegetarians turn round and say 'oh, how COULD you!'.
HOW COULD YOU
I quite like Durian...
I would like to try fried insects! (I think!)
I do too Snags....stinks like a corpse though
Chilled Monkey brains, Yum!

Quite a range of stuff here, many I've never tried but chances are I'll like a lot of them. There are some I don't fancy such as oyters, I'm told you just swallow them so what's the point. I'd give snails a try though. No inclination to try tripe either!
but it's the sauce that the tripe is cooked in here in Spain and it's all chopped up small, I was amazed that I loked it!
