Mowing over crocus plants
I really need to mow the lawn but I have crocus plants there. The flowers are long gone but the leaves are still there. If I mow over them would it ruin them for next year? Would it take the `goodness` out of the plants or does it not make much difference at this stage?

I`ve since looked on a crocus website and it says to not mow until the leaves turn brown so I`ll have to leave it a while. Next door has mowed their lawn at the front and mine looks terrible by comparison. The grass is about 4" high!
