Science - belly button fluff

Regardless of the colour of clothing worn, belly button fluff is always blue. Why is this?

The reason a lot of fluff appears to be grey or blue is because those colours are the most prevalent, but the fluff really is the colour of your clothing. Black clothes may well give grey or blue fluff, but only because there's blue dyes in most blacks and the very nature of fluff means that the fibres have a lot of space between them as compared to a fabric, and this may in turn influence the colour you perceive. Wear a red jumper for a day and I'll guarantee the fluff looks pinkish!

Well Pinotage the only thing is, I have never met any girls that get belly button fluff. I think it's a totally man thing and seeing as most "real" men don't wear pastel pinks and yellows it's bound to be manly blue isn't it. Please don't blame google for my lame response, I'm just going by experience!
