Is the price of car insurance getting unaffordable for the average motorist?
The companies put the blame on the “no win, no fee” lawyers who openly encourage drivers to make claims, many who do so fraudulently.
Could not the Government introduce measures so as to put a cap on premiums charged?
Or perhaps two separate policies could be introduced, one being for the vehicle and the other for personal insurance?
These suggestions have not been properly thought out, they are just hurried reactionary ideas, with the idea of creating other suggestions.

Perhaps the Government should take the job over, then if they put the charges up so much, we could at least take to the streets in protest?
Only a 'tongue in the cheek' suggestion, don't take it too serious.

I believe there are millions of drivers out there without even 3rd party insurance. This may be especially true for teenagers who have to pay in excess of £2000 even for third party insurance.
The problem if caught they get a slap on the wrist and maybe not even a fine that an insurance policy would cost. One simple answer would be that anyone caught without insurance would have to have a fine relevent to the damage caused and payable to the driver or the insurer of the innocent party. Of course weekly payments would be allowed.
