Recycling old keys

Found an bagful of old door keys whilst clearing out MIL bungalow. There must be a couple of dozen, yale and mortis keys. Does anyone know where these can be recycled rather than throwing them in the bin ? THanks

Or just take them to the local dump and throw them in the metals bin.

Donate them to your local distressed burglars benevolent society.

Leave them under flower pots outside your house. Potential burglars will spend so much time trying to use them that they won't have time to burgle.

Thats why I wanted to recycle them jomifl. I thought if I just chucked them away someone could get hold of them and keep them to try doors. You never know whether some might fit.
