Me and my room mate both have xbox's, which we use on xbox live. mine is wired, his is wireless, we connect through the same router. Everything runs fine until my GF loads up her laptop, it causes 1 of us to disconnect, and if that person re-connects it dc's the other person, but never the laptop. Ive set manual static IP's in the high range so it cant possibly be IP hijacking from the laptop, and ive also set up DMZ and port forwarding on them, but it still happens after 15 minutes or so.... any suggestions?

Usin a Belkin F6D4630 Router. thanks in advance :D

How have you setup port forwarding to two identical devices which use the same ports? also most (all that I've ever seen) routers will only allow one device to be put in the DMZ so I can't quite work out what you've done there either.

Putting them both on DHCP and enabling UPnP in the router should make them both work OK.

I have his xbox placed in the DMZ and mine has the port forwarding. I cant seem to find a UPnP option on my router though :/
