lap top battery
5 Answers
My lap top turned it's self off yesterday after running out of charge. After i plugged the charger in it worked fine until the battery got to 54% full. At this point the little light on my lap top saying it's charging went out, however the icon on the computer screen was still saying that it's charging. I've used it for about 2 hours since then with the charger plugged in and it's stayed at 54%. Is there anything i can do so the battery will charge up to 100%? xx

I got a third-party battery for my iBook. While the battery itself seems to have held up better than the original apple battery in terms of how long it holds a charge, it doesn't fit in the case as well as an apple battery, and its rubber foot fell off. But in terms of basic functioning I have no complaints. It works fine.
i let it run down to 5% and it didn't work :-( thankyou for your suggestion though. I don't have a screw driver small enough to open the cover and i'm in a country where i don't speck the language well enough to ask for one, I think it is a problem with the charger as some of the plastic covering the wires has come away, i have another one at home which i can try when i go back in a couple of weeks. This sucks so bad, i'm in a county where they sometimes have power cuts and they always seem to happen just when i'm in the middle of something on my lap top :-( Thankyou for all your help though :-)
