With the ban on the old, unecofriendly lightbulbs, what are you meant to put in light fittings that use a dimmer switch?

According to my dad you can't use them in them and the less powerful ones (which are still allowed?) aren't bright enough . . . .

And they're really expensive. Good job we stocked up on the old ones . . .
The life span of low wattage bulbs is about 100 times that of a normal bulb, so they are not that expensive.
Try Fork Handles.
That's a hardware shop just down the road from me :)

Hi,

I have tried it and the light works but nothing happens when i turn the dimmer.

Do you think i should not let the low energy lights, for sure they will burn / die ?

Can i use them with dimmer at max ?

Thanks.
