just finished work after two loooooong 14 hour shifts and an early today - i am shattered! trying my best to stay awake and wait for the takeaway to arrive (we are having alovely indian and some ice cold beer - sitting in the shade in the garden!). have taken out my cats stitches after she has been 'done' and watching her negotiate the garden for the first time...she is all over the place!

settling down for the first of two long bank holiday weekends and going to relax, potter in the garden and do a bit of spring cleaning and little jobs around the house. how are you guys going to spend your time? i hope you are all donig something nice and would love to hear about your plans/projects x

Sunday dinner out with in-laws and my eldest daughter and family - middle daughter doesn;t usually attend family dos, yougest has tonsilitis!

other than that - a folk festival at Nantiwch on Saturday, interviewing a musician who is playing there, and then relaxing and doing very little.

Nxt weekend, the present Mrs Hughes returns from a month away, so i will be very much enjoying having her home, and we will be catching up.

hi mike! unfortunately it is legal...and i need the overtime in order to pay the bills and live a little!!! it i'm a nurse, so used to the physical and mental pressures of the job. plays havoc with my arthritis, mind. my feet are absolutely humming. what are you up to this weekend? x
tomorrow is probably a lazy day for us, Saturday out and about with friends, Sunday, a family Sunday lunch and then some egg rolling and an Easter egg hunt with grandson
no plans for Monday as yet

hi, bobbisox! lazy days sound good and i'm also looking forward to sunday and all the chocolate and a decent roast - as i usually do overtime on the weekends, i rarely get to indulge in a sunday feast. can't wait x
you do a very worthwhile job imo and the nurses of this country should be rewarded instead of taking pay cuts...:-)
