hello all,
i have what looks like a coin approx 25mm accross.at thetop is a ?bishops mitre under that the number 1 then 1915.there are leaves on the left and right sides.the back is plain with an eye put on for use as a button, not sure if has been put on or is original.thought it was a military button/coin/token.front looks silvered.any suggestions welcombe. andy

If the back is totally plain I cannot see it being a coin. is there anything written around the rim?

It might be a token; companies used to issue them as private coinage, but as Boxtops says, a photo would be useful.
