I would say about 50% of the cases are real ...the remainder are simply because Sick Benefit pays more than the dole.
The Tory government upto 1997 started it , to keep the dole figures low.
Then the Labour Government picked up the idea ...
If these people do xfer to the dole figures then things will look bad.
But it seems Cameron is not too bothered ....
That's why the number of people in work increases ...
Guess it's all the Poles doing the jobs we are too depressed to do ...

The figures for the junkies and alcoholics and people too fat to work are the bottom of the listed numbers , but make headline catching news for the Tory party ...prior to Council elections ...why does he not try and cut the number of people off with depression by 25% ?
