We're going to Mauritius,all inclusive,in December

What is the local currency / voltage / plugs needed?

What are the guidelines on tipping?

The local currency is the Mauritian Rupee.

I can't remember about the plugs, but an international travel plug adaptor - about �3.99 in Argos - will cover you.

When we were there we tipped at a rate of about 15%.

I have no doubt that your resort will be beautiful, but the locals really have very little, so any tips will be warmly welcomed!

I�ve never been to Mauritius, but all the info you need should be in a lonely planet guide book. I�ve used them for a few countries I�ve visited and have found them very useful!
